"KREMA" - College Art Exhibition

Project Scope: Full Brand Identity, Key Visual Illustration, & Promotional Material Design

The Challenge:

The annual college art exhibition needed a fresh, compelling identity to break through the clutter of campus events and attract a diverse audience of students, not just those from the art department. The core challenge was to create a theme that felt both sophisticated and accessible, with a visual system flexible enough for both digital screens and large-format print.

My Solution & Process:

As the Lead Designer, I developed the concept "KREMA" and owned the project from ideation to final delivery. I crafted the central metaphorical illustration of a growing sprout formed from artistic tools, symbolizing the growth and blossoming of student creativity. I handled all typography, color theory, and layout to ensure a cohesive and impactful identity across posters, social media assets, and digital banners. The result was a unified and professional campaign that generated significant buzz for the event.

FUMO – Makeover Frenzy

When I worked on FUMO, I wanted to create a piece that didn’t just illustrate a scene, but captured the pulse of the story itself. This artwork was my contribution to our college art exhibition—a chance to distill the emotional core of the film into a single, explosive image.

The piece visualizes a critical turning point: the vibrant underwater world colliding with chaos. I used bold, high-contrast colors and dynamic shapes to echo the intensity of this shift—the cheerful energy of the park suddenly ruptured by overwhelming forces. The fluid forms spilling outward are both playful and menacing, embodying how beauty and danger can exist side by side in the same moment.

As an artist, I love translating narrative beats into visual metaphors. For this work, I leaned into exaggeration, rhythm, and bold composition to create an image that feels alive, almost like it’s leaping out of its frame. My goal was to make viewers feel the chaos and energy of FUMO’s world, even if they haven’t seen the film yet.

For potential collaborators, this piece reflects how I approach illustration beyond straightforward design: I focus on emotion-driven storytelling, ensuring every color choice, shape, and line contributes to the narrative. Whether for animation, games, or visual campaigns, I aim to create visuals that don’t just look appealing but also carry meaning.
