Lost & Found - Children's Book Project

The Project: A collaborative college assignment to conceptualize, illustrate, and produce a complete children's book from start to finish.

My Role: Lead Penciller & Editorial Coordinator

The Creative Challenge:

Our team's goal was to create a charming, cohesive, and print-ready children's book on a tight deadline. The core challenge was to ensure a consistent visual narrative across multiple illustrators while maintaining a playful energy that would appeal to young readers.

My Process & Contribution:

As the penciller, I was responsible for establishing the visual flow of the story. I began by designing the character sheets to ensure consistency, then laid out the thumbnails and final sketches for my designated pages, focusing on clear storytelling through character expressions and dynamic compositions. In my role as editorial coordinator, I worked closely with the team to unify the artistic style, provide constructive feedback on sketches, and meticulously compile the final pages to ensure everything was perfectly aligned and ready for print. This project was a fantastic lesson in visual storytelling, project management, and collaborative creativity.
